Batman: Arkham Knight - "Gotham is Mine" Trailer

Batman must protect Gotham from Scarecrow in the newest trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight.

Each trailer looks better than the last one. It appears Poison Ivy is returning along with The Riddler, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, and The Penguin. Could not help but notice the heavily armed thugs as well. Each Arkham game has raised the stakes and this one looks to do the same. However, Rocksteady Studios appears to be pushing the envelope even further than before, seeing as this is the first Batman game to be rated M for its mature content. Nonetheless, considering how good Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were, this is a game that should be on almost everyone's radar.

Here is a short synopsis:

"In the explosive finale to the 'Arkham' series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy the Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the 'Batman Arkham' series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City."

Batman: Arkham Knight will arrive on June 2 for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Batman: Arkham Knight - E3 Gameplay Trailer

In case you missed it, Warner Bros. and developer Rocksteady Studios debuted an impressive new gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight at Sony's E3 press conference. Check it out now!

It makes sense that this game is only for current-gen consoles since the game features highly detailed but expansive environments. The Batmobile is not just for show, as it serves an important function for traversing the streets of Gotham and dispatching enemies. The ability to launch Batman out of the cockpit is also a really nice looking and practical feature.

What little has been shown looks great so far. Rocksteady has a proven track record with the Batman franchise as they always aim to make each game bigger in scope, while adding gameplay elements that are both fun and help overcome the new challenges that arise from creating a larger game.

Batman: Arkham Knight is set to release next year for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT Delayed Until 2015, Batmobile Battle Mode Revealed

As previously thought, Batman: Arkham Knight is being pushed back until next year. According to Rocksteady's Dax Ginn, the reasoning behind the delay is because "Awesome takes time." To assuage fans, Rocksteady has released this reveal trailer teasing the Batmobile Battle Mode.

The Batmobile looks great, and Rocksteady has the track record to keep their promise of making a truly awesome game. More will be shown at E3 so keep this one on your radar.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be released next year on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Batman: Arkham Knight - Gameplay Trailer

Check out gameplay footage from Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Knight!

There sure is a lot of detail for such a dark game. Furthermore, while it does appear in just a few snippets, there is definitely some Batmobile gameplay shown off, including driving on the walls and ceiling. Ultimately, the trailer only gives us a taste of what to expect, and just that little bit looks great.

Interestingly, the trailer only mentions that the game is coming soon, though previous trailers suggested a worldwide 2014 release. Hopefully, the release date will be clarified soon. Expect to hear more about the game at E3 next month.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Batman: Arkham Knight - New Villain Announced, plus New Pics & Info, and an Interview with Rocksteady

Rocksteady announced an original character, the Arkham Knight.

More info has emerged for the upcoming Batman game, and Rocksteady will be introducing a new adversary called the Arkham Knight, created specifically for this game. Not much is known so let the speculation begin on whether it is a brand new character, or a previously known character in disguise.

For more info on the game, check out this great interview with Dax Ginn from Rocksteady.

The new game sounds huge. I really hope navigating Gotham with the Batmobile feels as satisfying as it looks in other media. I'm really liking the look of the new character as well. He looks like he might be a good match for the Batman universe.

And now for some awesome new pics!

"I'm sorry Batman, but your princess is on another rooftop."

The Arkham Knight stands over the Dark Knight.

Rocksteady promises the biggest Arkham game yet.

The Batmobile looks very similar to the Tumbler from the Nolan films.

Did I remember to turn the stove off?

The Arkham Knight in action!

What little has been shown definitely has me excited. I like the Tumbler-like design for the Batmobile, which will be the primary method of transportation around Gotham City. I'm sure that also means plenty of side missions to keep us busy while we tackle the main story. Can't wait to see more.

Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled to release later this year for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Batman: Arkham Knight Announcement Trailer

Hi everyone!

Here is the first trailer for the newest game in the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight.

Unlike Arkham Origins, this iteration is being developed by Rocksteady, the studio responsible for the first two games in the series. The main antagonist appears to be Scarecrow this time around, with appearances from many other familiar villains expected, such as Two-Face and the Penguin. Rocksteady also promises an open-world Gotham larger than Arkham City, along with a drivable Batmobile! I can't wait for more info.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be available later this year for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Preorder the game to get an add-on pack featuring 4 exclusive challenge maps, and a playable Harley Quinn.
