Wonder Woman and Justice League - SDCC Trailers

Warner Bros. has released the Comic-Con trailer for Wonder Woman!

Definitely feels different from Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, which might be a good thing. I like what I see so far. It is fun seeing Wonder Woman plow through random soldiers, but they may be a little too easy to take down. Knowing Warner Bros, they will give Wonder Woman a suitably formidable antagonist to fight. Looking forward to seeing more.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, the films stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Florence Kasumba, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Elena Anaya.

Here is a synopsis:

"Diana (Gal Gadot), princess of the Amazons, was raised on a sheltered island and trained to be an unconquerable fighter. After American pilot Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) crashes on the island and tells her about a world war that is happening, Diana leaves her home to try to stop the war."

Surprisingly, Warner Bros. also released the Comic-Con trailer for Justice League!

It is exciting to finally see all these characters together on screen. Looks like Warner Bros. is changing the overall tone of their films to feel less grim. This is not a bad choice, but hopefully they also understand that it will require more than just a tonal shift to make the films work. As of now, I am cautiously optimistic.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher.

Here is the official synopsis:

"Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes - Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash - it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions."

Wonder Woman will arrive on July 2, 2017, while Justice League is scheduled for release on November 17, 2017.

Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders - SDCC Teaser Trailers

Sweet Christmas! Watch the SDCC teaser trailer for Marvel's original Netflix series, Luke Cage!

Assuming the show follows the same quality as Daredevil and Jessica Jones, Luke Cage will be a must-watch for fans of the superhero genre.

Here is an official synopsis:

"After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive who attempts to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But soon he is pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city - forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury."

Want more? Marvel also released a teaser trailer for Iron Fist!

Here is a short synopsis:

"Danny Rand (Finn Jones) returns to New York City, after being missing for years, to fight corruption with a proficiency in kung-fu and the ability to call upon the power of the Iron Fist."

But that's not all. Marvel also revealed the teaser trailer for The Defenders!

The Defenders serves as a culmination of the various Marvel Netflix shows. It features Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist as they unite to face their biggest threat yet.

Finally, Marvel also released an awesome sizzle trailer for their Netflix programs..... because apparently we are not hyped enough.

The first season of Luke Cage will debut on Netflix on September 30, 2016. The Defenders will arrive sometime in 2017. No release date was revealed for Iron Fist, but it is expected to premiere in 2017.

Suicide Squad - Comic-Con Trailer

The Joker returns in the Comic-Con trailer for Suicide Squad!

This is basically a long teaser, but it gives audiences a good look at the cast and, what everyone has been waiting for, a better look at the Joker. Jared Leto looks terrifying as the Clown Prince of Crime, but who is he talking to? Looking forward to seeing more.

Directed by David Ayer, the film stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Adam Beach as Slipknot, and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.

No official plot synopsis has been released, but we do know the film centers on a group of supervillains who are recruited by the government to execute highly dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.

Suicide Squad is scheduled to arrive in US theaters on August 5, 2016.

The Walking Dead: Season 6 - Comic-Con Trailer

Watch the intense Comic-Con trailer for Season 6 of The Walking Dead.

It appears old friends Rick and Morgan will be butting heads in the newest season, and Rick is the one that is looking more and more like the antagonist as time goes on. Can't wait to see where the story goes.

According to the Comic-Con panel, the premiere episode will be 90 minutes long and feature 654 walkers, which is a series record. The new season is already looking like it could be one of the best.

Season 6 of The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC on Sunday, October 11th at 9pm/8c.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water - First Official Trailer

SpongeBob SquarePants comes to life in the stupid-funny trailer for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.

Is it wrong that I laughed? The animated/live-action hybrid looks ridiculous for sure, but that's not necessarily a bad thing if you like that kind of humor. The Mad Max parody was a nice touch, considering a new film in the series is on its way.

The original cast of Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown, Carolyn Lawrence, and Mr. Lawrence will be reprising their roles from the series. Antonio Banderas joins them as Alameda Jack, a pirate who serves as the antagonist.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water will arrive in US theaters on February 6th, 2015.

Arrow: Season 3 - Extended Trailer with Ra's al Ghul

Ra's al Ghul appears in the extended Comic-Con trailer for Season 3 of Arrow!

The inclusion of such a great character like Ra's al Ghul is sure to get fans excited. They have good reason, considering the excellent first two seasons, the second of which raised the bar in terms of story, action, character development, and set pieces.

Another character being introduced this season is Ted Grant/Wildcat, a former boxer who will be involved in a story with Laurel Lance.

Wildcat from the comics.

The new season of Arrow will premiere on Wednesday, October 8th on the CW.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For - Comic-Con Red Band Trailer

Sex and violence permeate the screen with style in the Comic-Con red band trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

The film is looking like a worthy follow-up. It helps to have such a great cast with the likes of Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Josh Brolin, to name a few.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens in US theaters on August 22nd.

Tekken 7 - Full Comic-Con Trailer

Check out the full Comic-Con trailer for Bandai Namco's new game, Tekken 7!

It is pretty over-the-top, but what else would you expect from the convoluted story of a fighting game? There will hopefully be some gameplay to show in the near future.

Tekken 7 is expected to be released on the Xbox One and PS4, though nothing has been officially announced.

Constantine - Full Comic-Con Trailer

Warner Bros. released the full Comic-Con trailer for NBC's new supernatural series Constantine!

Yes, that is Doctor Fate's helmet in the trailer. Does that mean we could see the character show up on the program?

Doctor Fate for the uninitiated.

Here's hoping we get to see a few of DC Comics' occult characters showing up the same way we get superheroes like the Flash and Ray Palmer/The Atom on Arrow. I'm rooting for appearances by Deadman and Etrigan the Demon.

Constantine premieres on Friday, October 24th at 10/9c on NBC.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies - Comic-Con Teaser Trailer

The decisive battle begins in the first teaser trailer for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies!

Initially presented at Comic-Con, the teaser takes a somber tone. It makes sense, seeing as this is the final installment of the series. Fans might want to revisit the old Lord of the Rings trilogy after this. It will help to fill the void.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies opens in US theaters on December 17th.

Zack Snyder Reveals Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman at Comic-Con

Zack Snyder finally revealed Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman from Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice at Comic-Con! Take a look at the Amazonian superhero in her full armor (click the photo for HD resolution).

Awesome sword is awesome.

Warner Bros. also recently gave us another look at Ben Affleck as Batman.

Dat chin doe.

Here is a look at DC's "Trinity" (Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman) side by side.

Are you excited yet?

Now that Warner Bros. has shown us their Trinity, how about we get a look at Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and the rumored Aquaman (Jason Momoa)?

They did show some footage of the film to the Comic-Con crowd, but the rest of us will have to wait a little while for that. Can't wait to see more!

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will open in US theaters on May 6th, 2016.

Arrow: Season 3 - Full Comic-Con Trailer

The Comic-Con trailer for Season 3 of Arrow takes a look at Arsenal, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer, and more!

*WARNING* Contains spoilers for Season 2.

So much to think about from that trailer. Arsenal's outfit looks awesome, and it's great to see Brandon Routh back in a DC role, though this time as Ray Palmer. Fingers crossed that we get to see him become the Atom.

The teasing of the Oliver/Felicity pairing (or Olicity) is sure to excite some fans. Blink and you miss Palmer doing a slide show of Starling City possibly being renamed Star City, just like in the Green Arrow comics.

It was also easy to miss Roy Harper in his new Arsenal gear. Here is a better look.

Now that is a badass costume to fight crime in.

With the second season being even better than the first, it will be interesting to see how the showrunners outdo themselves this time around. Definitely looking forward to the new season.

Arrow returns to the CW on Wednesday, October 8th.

The Walking Dead: Season 5 - Full Comic-Con Trailer

Watch the awesome Comic-Con trailer for Season 5 of The Walking Dead! October can't get here soon enough.

Looks like Rick's group comes to some sort of agreement with the people of Terminus, though there will obviously still be a lot of tension between them. Beth is still alive, but where is she? It will be interesting to see where all these plot points end up, and how the characters grow.

The new season of The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC on Sunday, October 12th at 9pm.
